    John D. Finnegan, Jr., age 76 of Jefferson Hills, passed away at home on Thursday, August 28, 2025.  Born June 17, 1949 in Clairton, he was a son of the late John D. and Irene L. (Graczyk) Finnegan, Sr.  John was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.  A recipient of an associate's degree in engineering from PTI, John worked as an engineer for various companies in the area.  He was also a member of the VFW in Wilson.  John is survived by his brother Mark (June) Finnegan of Charleston, SC, his sister-in-law Susan Finnegan, and his niece and nephews: Shea, Padraic, Justin, Joshua, Jacoby, and Scott Finnegan.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Dennis and Kevin Finnegan.

Sandra J. Greco, age 75 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in Kane Regional Center - McKeesport.  Born November 28, 1949 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Concetta (Rizzo) Guzewicz.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Patrick's Church, Sandy loved to craft, bake her famous cookies, but most of all spend time with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband Thomas M. Greco; her sons Michael (Tammie Turner) Greco of Elizabeth Twp. and David (Annie) Greco of Canonsburg; her grandchildren Mackenzie, Samuel, and Madelaine; her stepchildren Anthony (Cara) Greco of Cincinnati, OH and Dana (Justin) Defonso of Boston, PA; her step-grandchildren Nevaeh, Jovanni, and Antoinette; her brother Allan (Cynthia) Guzewicz of White Oak; her nephews Shane, Blake (Hope), and Nathan (Taylor) Guzewicz; and her great-nieces-and-nephews Cole, Sophie, and Wesley.

Nancy J. Tacsik, age 78, of Glassport, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Martin de Porres Church in McKeesport. She was a former pharmacy tech at Mann's Drugstore for about 20 years and a bank manager at First Commonwealth Bank for 40 years. She attended Robert Morris Jr. College, the American Banking Institute, and Community College of Allegheny County South Campus. She liked to travel, enjoyed working, was a manager for a girls’ softball team, and liked the Steelers and Pirates, bowling and tennis. She was a treasurer for the Downtown McKeesport Association, a board member of the Kiwanis Club of McKeesport, the Steel Valley Opportunities Industrialization Center, the Regional Business Alliance/Mon Yough Chamber of Commerce where she was also on the Membership Service Committee, the Salvation Army, the YWCA where she was also treasurer, and Womansplace. She was a member of the UPMC McKeesport Hospital Women’s Committee, the Women of Achievement, Glassport Library, American Heart Association, and the Mon Yough Realtors Association. Born November 3, 1946 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mildred (Shandor) Tacsik. She is survived by nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Tasik. No visitation is planned. A committal service will take place in the chapel at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Monroeville on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 10:30 AM with the Rev. Edwin J. Wichman officiating. David W. Foster, age 68 of Port Vue, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in Meadowcrest of Bethel Park.  Born June 14, 1957 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late James M. and Janet E. (Thompson) Foster.  A former member of the Mentor Road Bible Church in Forward Twp., David retired as a bus driver for Port Authority.  He was a huge fan of Kennywood, especially riding the Thunderbolt, and was a member of the Kennywood Alumni and a few rollercoaster clubs.  David is survived by his sister Karen Savage of Liberty Borough; his nieces and nephews: Lori (Ryan) Savage of Liberty Borough, Jennifer (Sabri) Keskin of Langhorne, Matthew (Emily) Savage of West Mifflin, Heather Wright of Liberty Borough, and Brian Wright of Port Vue; and his lifelong close friends John Platt and Beth O’Shea.  Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister Debbie Wright.

Mary Lou Alfonsi, age 68 of Clairton, passed away at home on Saturday, August 23, 2025.  Born May 17, 1957 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Italo and Giuseppina (DiMarco) Alfonsi.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton, Mary Lou worked as a former supervisor of housing development for the Urban Housing Authority and also worked as a schoolteacher at St. Clare School and a Home Base Instructor.  She is survived by her sister Teresa (Rocco) Marzo of Geneva, Switzerland, her niece Pina (Marius) Marzo, her nephew Marco Marzo, her great-nephew-and-niece Ethan and Giulia, her close cousin Diane Black, her dear friend/sister Denise Longo, her cat Kenzie, and also other cousins.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Domenico Alfonsi and her beloved dog Mugsy.

Linda L. Beck, age 75 of Greensboro, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 in WVU Health Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  Born January 6, 1950 in Canonsburg, she was a daughter of the late James Walter Beck and Nellie Opal (Frum) Beck.  A graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and employed at the Liberty Candy Co. for more than 20 years, Linda enjoyed roller skating in her younger years and loved to crochet, play bingo, do jigsaw puzzles, observe butterflies and wildlife outside of her home, feed the hummingbirds that would visit, and root on the Steelers.  Most of all, she loved the time spent with her family.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.  Linda is survived by her daughter Kimmi (Douglas) Graboski of McKeesport; her grandchildren Sara (Nathan) Burnau of San Diego, CA and Nathan (Cassidy Chappell) of McKeesport; her great-grandchildren Bodhi and Sebastian; her sister Karen (Bob) Kelly of Greensboro; and also many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jerry, James Jr., Thomas, and Terry Beck and also two of her nephews.

Raymond A. Heckman, age 78, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at home. He retired from the shipping and receiving department of Gardner Denver in Elizabeth. He was a member of the Elizabeth Twp. Sportsmen’s  Association and he loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking, boating and jet skiing, and he liked to get his hands dirty gardening. Born January 21, 1947 in Monongahela, he was a son of the late Richard and Cathryn (Dusi) Heckman. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. (Vavra) Heckman, who have been together for 60 years; daughters, Cristalle “Crissy” (Mark) Greenwald of Elizabeth Twp. and Maranda (Arthur) King of Maple Falls, WA; grandchildren, Christian (Tayler Denney) Kirschner, Riley Greenwald, AJ King and Abby King; sisters, Pearl Glos of Elizabeth Twp. and Cheryl Trumpie of Lincoln Borough; brother, Richard (Mary) Heckman of Elizabeth Twp.; also nieces and nephews. Frank J. Kwolek, age 93, of Elizabeth Twp., formerly of Glassport, beloved husband of Gail (Hartland) Kwolek, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Born on February 16, 1932, he was a son of the late John and Viola (Merta) Kwolek. After serving his country honorably during the Korean War, he graduated from Alliance College and also earned a Master’s Degree at Duquesne University. He taught at Our Lady of Grace, Southside Catholic, and also became an Occupational Assessment Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Holy Name Society, the PNA in Glassport, the Mon Yough Trail Council, Port Vue Oldtimers Softball League, Half Fast Golf Team and the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center. He was an avid bicyclist and an outdoor enthusiast, enjoyed fishing and especially camping with his wife Gail across the United States. In his leisure time, he enjoyed sharing his carpentry skills with family and friends. He is survived by brother Thomas (Sue) Kwolek of Palo Alto, CA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, John, Patrick Anthony, Edward (Helen) and Joseph (Betty) Kwolek, Thelma (Frank) Spanbauer, Sr. M. Geraldine Kwolek, Louise (James) Sowerby, Florence (Steve) Dendis, Agnes (Liguori) Conley, and Mary Ann Kwolek who died in infancy. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth, on Wednesday, August 27 from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 28 at 10 AM at St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp. with Rev. Edwin J. Wichman officiating. Danny Lee Miller, age 76 of Clairton, passed away at home on Thursday, August 14, 2025.  Born December 7, 1948 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Clarence and Jennie (Stearns) Miller.   A retired yard supervisor at Mon River Supply in West Elizabeth, Danny was a 1968 graduate of Clairton High School and a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was also a life member, former president, and served ranks from 1st. Lieutenant to Chief with the Forward Twp. VFD.  He was captain of the Fire/Police Organization and its treasurer, and he was active with the Junior Fire Coordinators, EMTs, a BSA/Webelos leader and assistant Scout Leader, and a union commissioner.  Danny is survived by his daughter Ehrin (Bill) Miller Murray; his granddaughter Abigail Murray; his siblings Barbara (the late Alton) McCullough, Curtis S. (Adrianne) Miller, Ray R. Miller, Debbie Pazo, Susan (Ron) Vigliotti, and Patrick (Beth) Miller; and also numerous nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Danny L. Terry Clay Williams, age 68, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 at home. Born November 14, 1956, he was a son of the late Wilbur Clay and Lois Isabelle (McClead) Williams. Terry was a veteran of the US Army and retired as a lead transportation security officer at the Pittsburgh International Airport. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Murrysville and will be remembered as a helpful and loyal family man. Terry is survived by his daughters Stephanie Nicole Williams of McKeesport and Danielle Alayne (Debayan) Maitra of the State of Washington; sister Cecelia A.
