James J. Zello Jr., age 67 of Westmoreland City, passed away on April 9, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 29, 1958, in Greensburg, a son of the late James J. Zello Sr. and Charlotte Garland Zello. Jim was a member  of the Grace Collective Church in Manor. Prior to his retirement in 2023, he was employed as a machinist for Mine Safety Appliance . Jim was an avid Pittsburgh Sports team fan, he enjoyed rock and roll music, and he loved classic cars.  Jim was a 1976 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, where he was a member of the marching band.  He was also the first chair in the orchestra band, playing the French horn. Jim's number one hobby was being "Pappy".  In addition to his parents,  he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aaliyah Bramhall.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane O'Bruba, one son, Chris Zello (wife, Tessa), two daughters, Kayleigh Bramhall (husband, John), and Samantha Zello, one sister, Linda Darazio, three grandchildren, Aubrianna, Alexander, and Adelynn, several brothers and sisters in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the JAMES W. Bernice Smoody Visser, age 91 of North Huntingdon, passed away on April 7, 2026. She was born on May 13, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John Boyle and Beatrice Gillespie Boyle. Bernice was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Westinghouse. In her free time, Bernice liked to bake pies, and she was an excellent cook. She loved to spend time with her dogs. In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cornelis Visser, and one grandson. She is survived by two sons, William Smoody (wife, Debra), and Robert Smoody, two daughters, Madelyn Setterberg (husband, Richard), and Christine Smoody, one stepson, Ken Visser (wife, Annette), one stepdaughter, Mary Lynn Zabelsky (husband, Greg), and five grandchildren. Doris R. Phillips, 76, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on April 4, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on July 23, 1949, Doris was the daughter of the late Otto W. and Dorothy Schmidt Jancef. She was a longtime member of Norwin Christian Church and was devoted to her faith and family. Doris was a graduate of Norwin High School and found great joy in quilting, gardening, and her love of animals. She will be especially remembered for her generosity and thoughtfulness, often sharing her talent by creating and gifting handmade quilts to newborns, family members, and friends—a lasting expression of her love. Throughout her life, Doris held a variety of roles, including positions with Rockwell, the Alumni Association of California University of Pennsylvania, the Westmoreland County Blind Association, and the Mountain View Inn gift shop. In her retirement years, she assisted her husband with his business. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Phillips; her daughter, Ruth A. Jones; and her sisters, Carol Rice and Linda Horne. Doris is survived by her loving daughter, Tracy Seman and her husband Richard; her beloved grandchildren, Bethany, Sarah, and Jaden Seman; two nieces; Tara Hall (Chris) and Amber Zahorchak (Rafael), and members of the Phillips family. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Norwin Christian Church, followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Patricia Mary (Petrisko) Lenhart, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully March 30, 2026, at Independence Health System, Greensburg, PA. She was born May 30, 1935, in Acme, PA, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Catherine (Pospisil) Petrisko. Pat was co-owner of Lenhart’s Service Center working along-side her husband Paul for 69 years. She was a member of St. Agnes Parish and enjoyed traveling with her family, sewing, quilting and baking for every occasion and holiday. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Paul Lenhart, grandson, baby boy Lenhart, sons-in-law, David L. Morton and Charles David Tromm, sister, Betty Craycraft and brother, Thomas Petrisko. Richard J. Hill, age 84 of Monroeville died March 27, 2026, at Kadima, Irwin, Pa. He was born April 17, 1941, in Libertyville, Illinois, a son of the late Milton and Beulah Hill. Richard was a member of the Garden City United Methodist Church in Monroeville and was an active spiritual leader in the Kairos and Emmaus communities. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing tennis.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Bruce Hill. Throughout his lifetime, Richard worked as an attorney, was an ordained pastor and worked as a college professor. He earned his master's degree from the University of Wheaton, Illinois. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Cole-Hill, one son, Nathan Hill, three daughters, Valerie, Laurel and Pam Hill, grandchildren, Gideon, Juliana, Jack and Micah, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois D. Rodman, age 77 of Scottdale died March 27, 2026, at Independence Westmoreland Hospital. She was born May 30, 1948, in Roaring Springs, Pa, a daughter of the late William and Elaine Black Hinish. Lois enjoyed board games and playing cards. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Dombroski and Linda Hood. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Rodman, two sons, Bill Hinish and his wife Lori, Scott Rodman, three grandchildren, Melissa Hamilton (Heath), Jennifer Walley (John), Abagail Rodman, two great grandchildren, Allie and John. Roy E. Brumbaugh, age 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 22, 2026.  He was born on January 19, 1954, in McKeesport, a son of the late Martin Brumbaugh and Gladys Milne Brumbaugh.  Roy was a member of Sampson's Mill Presbyterian Church in White Oak, and Alcoholics Anonymous.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as a laborer for US Steel at both the Irving Works and Edgar Thompson Works.  He was also employed by Wabco Air Brake, where he operated the drill press.  In his free time, Roy enjoyed biking, camping, bowling, and attending car shows.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin Brumbaugh and Gary Brumbaugh, and one nephew, Chad Brumbaugh.  He is survived by his wife, Rose Mesiarik Brumbaugh, two sons, Drew Brumbaugh and R. Stephan Brumbaugh, one daughter, Marla Brumbaugh, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the JAMES W. Bernice V. Morley, age 92 of Ardara, passed away on March 20, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 25, 1934, in Barnesboro, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Sabella. Bernice was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the Payroll Department at the Ebensburg Courthouse. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Morley, on November 15, 2025, one brother, Anthony Sabella Jr., and one sister, Sadie Bogel. She is survived by two daughters, Diana Ruthardt (husband, Fred) and Toni Younkin (husband, Barry), six grandchildren, Paige Secosky, Joey Secosky, Patrick Habarka, Brennan Ruthardt, Logan Ruthhardt, and Caleb Ruthardt. She was born March 25, 1955, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late George Hunter and Florence Lehman Hunter. Joyce was a member of St. John Fisher Parish in Churchill. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and went on to fulfill a career in her field. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed working on crafts and knitting. Brian J. Cardiff

Brian J. Cardiff, age 38, of North Huntingdon, met his Savior on March 16, 2026. Born on February 17, 1988, he was the son of Ken Cardiff and the late Karen Cardiff. Brian’s life was deeply shaped by his mother, whose love and strength not only gave him life, but sustained it through the first of two kidney transplants. Brian was a graduate of Norwin High School, where he took great pride in participating in wrestling, show choir, and various school activities. He was most recently employed as a driver for XPO. Prior to that, his work took him to the heartland of our nation, where he spent time in the oil and gas industry in North Dakota—an experience he spoke fondly of throughout his life. Brian had many passions, including woodworking, attending races at Jennerstown, hunting, and fishing with his brothers and close friends. He was especially known for his quick wit and humor, often lighting up a room with a perfectly timed joke or a memorable movie quote. His ability to recall movie lines at just the right moment never failed him. As a child, Brian was a recipient of Make-A-Wish, an organization that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He was also a devoted and outspoken follower of Christ, attending Faith Bible Baptist Church in Wilkins Township and Heritage Baptist Church of Jeannette. Brian will be remembered as someone larger than life who was deeply loved, incredibly strong and courageous. Those who knew him understand that his impact cannot be fully captured in words. He is survived by his father, Ken Cardiff, and his four siblings: Lorie (Donald) Impavido, Ken (Julie) Cardiff, Mark (Serina) Cardiff, and Steve (Brianna) Cardiff. He also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews, whom he loved as if they were his own siblings and countless cousins. In addition to his mother, Brian was preceded in death by his grandmother, Violet Cardiff, and his beloved dog, Bandit. Friends will be received on Sunday, March 22, from 1 -7 PM at the James W. Norma Jean Painter age 87, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Port Vue passed away on March 17, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1938, in McKeesport, the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Kushner) Sulak. She graduated in 1956 from McKeesport High School. Norma held various jobs throughout her life and retired from Medco/Merck. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. (Bob) Painter in 2001. She is survived by her children: Jeanne Powanda (Allen), Robert C. Painter (Michelle), Susan Painter, and Lori Palm (Don); two grandsons, Nicholas Powanda and Matthew Palm; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and “bonus” grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Michael of Virginia, and her sister-in-law Vivian Schultz. Norma loved to laugh and have fun and could always take a joke or make one. She made friends everywhere she went.  Although short, her stay at Point Pleasant in North Versailles was a very happy time in her life. The family would like to thank Norma's good friend and personal shopper, Sue and the staff of Point Pleasant for their care and compassion during her stay.  There will be no public visitation. Martha M. Drescher, age 73 of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 17, 2026. She was born on October 19, 1952 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Harvey Dixon and Wilma Payne Dixon. Martha graduated from McKeesport High School in the Class of 1970. She was a woman of faith and follower of Jesus. She enjoyed oil painting, drawing, and crocheting. Martha was an animal lover. She was the proud owner of several dogs and birds. Most of all, she cherished the time that she spent with her family. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny Dixon, Billy Dixon, and Danny Dixon, and one sister, Kathy Dixon. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Drescher, one son, Jason Drescher (wife Lauryl), one daughter, Jennifer Hayton (husband Walt), three brothers, Eddie Dixon, Dave Dixon, and Harvey Dixon, five sisters, Carol Hackett, Barb Dixon, Susie Gluscic, Karen Roe, and Julie Dixon, three grandchildren, Amanda Steban (husband Brian), J.J. Elizabeth R. Ray, age 91 of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 13, 2026.  She was born on December 31, 1934 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Jospeh Robinson and Magdalena Reott Robinson. Elizabeth was a member of St. Elizabeth Church in North Huntingdon.  She was an avid card player for over 60 years, and she was also known for her delicious baking. Elizabeth enjoyed her role as a homemaker, and she cherished the time that she spent with her family.  In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Alexander Ray in 1974, two brothers, Joseph Robinson and Richard Robinson, and one sister, Rosemary Kreller.  She is survived by three sons, Daniel Ray (wife Kathryn), Kenneth Ray (wife Martha), and Donald Ray (wife Nanci), two daughters, Linda Morris (husband James) and Roxanne Esasky (husband Jeffry), six grandchildren, Nicole Stepanik (husband Jay), Nathan Shoff (wife Jill), Natalie Shoff (Keith), Alexandra Nickl (husband Ryan), Joseph Ray, and Wendy Shandel (husband Scott), four great-grandchildren, Amelia, Jeremy, Briana, and Cassidy, one great-great grandson, Jace, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be private.  JAMES W. William "Puff" Paredes

William "Puff" Paredes, age 91 of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was born on July 19, 1934, in Donora, a son of the late Manuel Paredes and Josephine Sczmuc Paredes. Puff was a member of St. Agnes Church, and a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Helm's Express, where he unloaded tractor trailer trucks. Puff belonged to several local social clubs, including the Italian Miners Club, Guffey Club, Hahntown Wendel Club, and Hahntown Firehall. In his free time, Puff enjoyed gardening, bowling, going for walks, and fishing with his grandchildren. Most of all, he cherished the time that he spent with friends and family. In addition to his parents, Puff was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Donna Lee Paredes in 2009, one brother, Robert Paredes, and two sisters, Sylvia Sthal and Josephine Adam. He is survived by one son, Rick Paredes (wife Mary Beth), two daughters, Debbie Petro (husband Paul), and Diane Petras (husband Bill), five grandchildren, Paul Cruz Petro (wife Megan), Kenny Paredes (wife Hannah), Dylan Paredes (Cortney), William “Billy Ray” Petras (wife Erin), and Angel Thomas (husband Tyler), and six great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jaxson, Haizley, Austin, Calen, and Luna.
