Eleanor M. Iwinski, 80, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Mountain View Senior Living. She was born, May 28, 1940 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Michlovic) Badzgon. Prior to her retirement, Eleanor was an engineer for Westinghouse. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, Women at the Well Prayer Group and AAUW - American Assoc. of University Women. She enjoyed knitting, tutoring math and belonged to the Thyme for Herbs group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Iwinski; brothers, Raymond and Albert Badzgon; and sister, Frances Zoscak. She is survived by her two sons, Dave and his wife Melissa, Tom and his wife Leah; daughter, Dianne DelBene and her husband Frank; brother, Elmer Badzgon and his wife, Joan; sister, Aggie Eicher; and six grandchildren Kessara, Aaron, Jacob, Joseph, Nicole and Mario. Jason K. Brokenbek, 48, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 in Jefferson Regional Hospital. He was born August 15, 1972 in Pittsburgh, a son of James and Mary Ann (Hunter) Brokenbek . Jason worked in the waterproofing and construction industry. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, wood carving, hunting, fishing and was a sketch and tattoo artist. Robert W. Baker, age 86 of North Huntingdon died August 23, 2020 at his home. He was born March 26, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late John Francis and Sarah Ann Good Baker. Prior to his retirement, Robert was a steelworker for U.S. Steel. He attended St. Agnes Church, was an avid hunter and enjoyed watch IRL race cars with his grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Williams Baker, two sons, Robert W. Baker Jr., and his wife Kelly, John E. David N. Byers, 67, of Larimer, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born March 23, 1953 in McKeesport, son of Mary Jane (Thomas) Byers and the late Earl Byers. David was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School and prior to his retirement was a truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking and loved riding his motorcycle. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Baker. Rylan Joseph Gallagher, 8 months old, passed away on August 15, 2020 at 10:17 p.m. in Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. Rylan was a very loving happy child and brought joy to many who loved him and he will be immensely missed. Rylan was preceded in death by his sister, Amyrah Gallagher; and aunt, Pamela Sue White. Kenneth A. Shipes, 71, of Claridge, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 in Family
Hospice at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. He was born December 26, 1948 in Jamestown,
New York, son of the late Pauline Dietrick Shipes. Prior to his retirement, Kenneth
worked as a subcontractor for Westinghouse Nuclear but was better known as a
proprietor of restaurants and lounges including the SenSim in Norwin Towne Square.
Ken was a classic car enthusiast, Harley Davidson rider and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Humbert; daughters, Paula (Scott) Ohler, Karen

Frank A. Pawlowski, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born September 17, 1942 in Vandergrift, a son of the late Leo A. and Mary (Kolodziejski) Pawlowski. Frank earned his Associate Degree from Alliance College in 1962 and began working for CECO and Sargent Manufacturing Co. as a draftsman and worked his way up to sales engineer until his retirement in 2009. He was president of St. Joseph Church Council, member of Knights of Columbus, Slippery Rock Campground, Duquesne Moose, PTG Duquesne Catholic School and the owner and operator of Marleno's Pizza Shops in McKeesport, North Side and Clairton. Frank enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Pawlowski. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen (Dill) Pawlowski; children, Frank (Claire) Pawlowski, Kathie (Edwin) Miller and Bryan (Michelle) Pawlowski; brothers, Eugene (Kathy), Robert (Paula), Dennis (Donna); sister, Patricia (David) Baumgartner; grandchildren, Autumn, Noah, Trinity and Alexis.

June Johnston Hinkle, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Kelly's Personal Care Home, Greensburg. She was born in Harrisonburg, VA, a daughter of the late Robert Boyd and Kate (Arborgast) Johnston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harman "Clyde" Hinkle. June is survived by her children, Richard Hinkle and Wylene Hinkle, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. June was a full-time Mom, an accomplished braille transcriber, a talented quilter, and an avid baker. Many will miss her ginger cookies. She loved animals and adopted several stray cats. Many have been inspired by her care-giving. June spent the first two decades of her life in Riverton and Circleville. She graduated from Circleville High School in 1947. It was in her high school English class that she discovered a love of books and became a prolific reader, especially mysteries. After moving from West Virginia, she and her husband, Clyde, spent so many weekends in West Virginia that I knew the way to Grandma's house better than the way to school. Dale T. Watson, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his home. He was born May 14, 1926 in Irwin, a son of the late Charles B. and Theresa L. (Thornton) Watson. Prior to his retirement, Dale worked as a lab technician for WABCO and was a veteran of the US Navy having served during WWII. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Larimer, and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and watching old westerns on TV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Watson; son-in-law, William Gault; and brother, Wayne (Janet) Watson. Earl J. McElhinny, age 87 of Buena Vista, Pa died August 8, 2020 in Mercy Hospital. He was born May 30,1933 in McKeesport, Pa., a son of the late James and Elizabeth Griffin McElhinny. Earl was the owner/operator of McElhinny Barns and Landscaping. He was a member of the Holy Family Church in West Newton where he sang in the church choir, and helped at spaghetti dinners. He enjoyed attending Steeler camps. Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Korea. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry and one brother James. Willis F. O'Neil Jr. went to be with the Lord on July 30,2020. Willis was born on December 7, 1929 in Pricedale, Pa. He was the eldest son of the late Willis and Leona (Simon) O'Neil. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 38 years by General Motors Fisher Body and was a member of Local Union 544. Willis was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, the FCLSA SO77 of McKeesport, Irwin Moose Lodge 293 and a fifty year member of the FM&A Polaris Lodge. He was also a member of the Model A Restorer's Club, an avid traveler, camper and hunter. He enjoyed model trains, model planes and antique cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Beverly; his brother, Edwin Lee; sister, Kay Otley; and his daughter Lee Ann Gramus. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years and best friend, Mary Anne O'Neil; a son, Geary Lee O'Neil; two grandsons, several nieces, nephews and his canine companions Danny Boy and Miss Poppy. Private services were held at the Belle Vernon Cemetery with Chaplain Tony Richardson-Eckers from the Allegheny Health Network officiating. Dolores A. Labuda, 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at her home. She was born April 7, 1938 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late George A. and Frances (Osenkowski) Labuda. Prior to her retirement, Dolores was a school teacher for the Duquesne Public Schools and later helped others through nutrition and meditation practices. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Labuda. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, George Paul Gans; sister, Denise King and her husband, Joe; and niece, Dianne and nephews, Dan, David and Nicolas. Charles Wilbur Hershey, age 91 of North Huntingdon died July 29, 2020 at his home. He was born July 28, 1929 in Madison County, Indiana, a son of the late Charles Danford and Minnie Mabel (King) Hershey. He was preceded in death by his wife Verona Zofchak Hershey; brothers, George Danford Hershey and Edward King Hershey. He is survived by a sister Martha Hershey Raugh; nephews, nieces, and countless cousins. He served with the Army Security Agency, which is now under the National Security Agency. He was stationed in the Philippines during the Korean War, and was a longtime member of the American Legion. Charles was an avid genealogist and the Hershey family historian, and loved fishing and reading. He was retired from US Steel Irvin Works and a longtime member of The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour in N. Huntingdon, where he and his wife had been active in the youth program.
