Ralph Evanchak, Sr., age 91, of Port Vue, died December 27, 2020, at home. Born October 19, 1929, in Liberty Borough, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Naylor) Evanchak and the husband of the late Marion Grace (Irwin) Evanchak for 63 years.

Ralph retired from Consolidated Rail Corporation. He was a devoted member of Liberty Presbyterian Church. Ralph was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Janet E. Baker, age 70, of Liberty Borough, died December 26, 2020, at home. Born February 25, 1950, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gatto and Madeline (Knee) Gatto.She was the wife of Hilary L. Baker, Jr., for 51 years.
Janet retired as a bookkeeper and then cared for her grandchildren. She was a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church for over 40 years, where she served as an Elder, Deacon, and was active with the Women's Club. Janet enjoyed traveling and the most important thing in the world was her grandchildren's happiness.

Michael D. Smith, age 64, of Pittsburgh, died December 20, 2020, at UPMC Shadyside. Born May 8, 1956, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late David William and Nellie Renee (Mixon) Smith.
Michael worked at many different places up until his disability would no longer allow him to work. He volunteered at the Chain of Hope of Pittsburgh, where he was a cook and always there to lend a hand. Michael enjoyed walking, whistling his favorite tunes, and especially loved his grandchildren.

She devoted her life to caring for her children and grandchildren. Betty enjoyed Polka music, dancing, gardening, cooking, home remodeling, and Pittsburgh sports (especially the Pirates).
