Richard A. Scott, 87, of North Versailles, passed away Friday March 7, 2025. He was born February 4, 1938 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Hilf) Scott. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives Betty (Burger) Scott and Irene (McCutcheon) Scott and step-children Joseph, David, and Pamela McCutcheon. He was a retired printer for Statford Press after 30 years on the job. He was a Navy veteran, an avid bowler, liked to travel, garden, and tend to his fish pond. He also enjoyed golf and played in the Duffers Golf League. Richard is survived by his children Richard A. Jr. (Maura) Scott, Michael Scott, and Russell (Dawn) Scott; his step-children Cynthia “Cindy” Stanbery (Steve), Kenneth “Fritz” McCutcheon and Donald McCutcheon; his grandchildren Chelsea Challingsworth (Joshua), Ahsley Luffey (Ryan), Richard Scott (fiancé Kristy), and Justin Scott; also many step grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Michael (Marcie) Scott, Kathleen (Edward) Lesoon, and Joseph (Beverly) Scott; also nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday March 9, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Private interment will be in Homewood Cemetery.
