Clifford B. Richards, 82, of Boston, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. He was born April 12, 1937 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Sproll) Richards. Clifford was a retired painter for UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was a US Maine Veteran and was a member of Local  249. Clifford loved to read medical, handyman and self help books. He also loved to dance and was considered amongst family and friends to be the king of homemade chili.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Lynn  (Petrow) Richards, sons, Clifford W. Richards of Uniontown, and Roger R.  Richards of McKeesport, step-children, Barbara and Richard Perkins of Uniontown and Judy Petrow of Boston, granddaughter, Connie Korp, brothers, Frank Richards of White Oak and Edwin (Carlene) Richards of Port Vue, sisters, Ellen Coulter of Pittsburgh and Gladys Young of West Mifflin, and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Giatroudakis, and Norma Price, and brothers,  Melvin, Robert and Ronald Richards. Friends are welcome Tuesday, September  24, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
