Shirley McCarthy, age 90, of Yukon, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her home.  She was born September 8, 1930 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Adam and Nellie (Rausch) Dannenhauer.  Shirley was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church, McKeesport and enjoyed crocheting and ceramics.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. McCarthy; sons, Dale and Warren McCarthy; and brother, Kenny Dannenhauer.  

She is survived by her son, Kim McCarthy and his wife, Lisa; daughter-in-law, Norma McCarthy; sister, Ann Puliska; grandchildren, Justin, Warren, Paula, Joey, Christina, Cassandra, Chris and Melanie; great-grandchildren, Kody, Gage, Marian, Kayla, Gavin, Savannah; and great-great grandson, Spencer.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 a.m in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
