Helen Przybyla, 101, of Wilmerding, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Przybyla; loving mother of Fr. Philip Przybyla and Edwin Przybyla (Connie); grandmother of Vincent Przybyla (Robin); great grandmother of Emerson and Carter. Helen was a woman of faith and loved her family dearly. Our hearts are broken and she will be sorely missed.

Larry Dewayne Hill, 72, was born April 3, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA.  The beloved son of the late Joshua Hill and Pearl Green departed this life on November 26, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Ericka Pirl.

He is survived by his son, Demetrius Pirl of West Mifflin; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Michelle Morris; host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jesse R. Williams, affectionately known to many as Essie, 66, was born June 12, 1954, in McKeesport, PA.  The beloved son of the late Essie and Tina (Taulton) Williams, he departed this life on December 1, 2020, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Belinda and Patricia Williams.  

Jesse was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. He furthered his education at Youngstown State University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Jesse was a Computer Analyst for Armada Supply Chain Solutions. On November 26, 1983, he married Jeanette McDew and to this union, two children were birthed.

Jesse was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Jesse was loved by so many people because he was the type of man who would do anything for his family and friends. He was the rock of his family and that void can never be filled.

Albert G. Moore Jr., 91, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020. He was born July 3, 1929 in Wilmerding, a son of the late Albert G. Sr. and Hazel C. (Mellinger) Moore and was also preceded in death by his sisters Helen Davies and Margaret Short and a nephew Larry Davies.

He was a charter member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church, a member of Shidle Lodge No. 601 F. & A.M., Irwin, for more than 50 years, and a proud Army veteran that served in the Korean Conflict. Albert began his career as a machinist apprentice at Westinghouse Air Brake Company, Wilmerding.

He owned and operated Moore and Shaver Machining, New Stanton, and prior to his retirement worked as a salesman for REM Electronic Supply Co. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed riding his bike on the Yough River Trail, and would volunteer with the YRBTC to maintain the trail. Albert was an amateur archaeologist.

Mildred C. (Davis) Phillips. 87, of Glassport died Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. She was born September 23, 1933 to the late William and Lelah (Ketterman) Davis of Rawlings, MD. Beloved wife of the late Emil D. Phillips Jr. She was a loving mother and is survived by her children Donald and Gayle Phillips of Altoona, PA, and Ronald and Linda Phillips of Elizabeth, PA; loving grandmother of Angela, Jacob (Lindsay), Crystal (J.J.), Tiffany (Jim), Janine (Jim), and Nina (Bill); 13 great-grandchildren; special niece Mona Harper and other nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Glassport, PA. Friends received Saturday 11-1 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, at which time a funeral blessing will be held. Interment following Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

John Vincent Paoletti, age 78 of Elizabeth Township passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Jefferson Hospital. John “Poe” was born on July 14, 1942 in McKeesport Hospital and grew up in the Wilson area of Clairton. He was the son of the late Leon and Theresa (Azzari) Paoletti. John was a graduate of Clairton High School “Class of 1960”, where he proudly led the Clairton Bears as their standout quarterback. His talents were not limited to the football field, as he also lettered in two additional sports. He went on to attend Dayton University where he continued playing football. After college, John married the “love of his life” Linda. They went on to share a beautiful life together, celebrating 50 years of marriage, and were blessed with three loving daughters and four grandsons whom they adored. John had a long career as a foreman at US Steel-Clairton Works, where he was well liked and respected. John retired after more than 30 years of service. He then began his 2nd career and true calling as #1 grandfather “Pap Pap”.

Angel "Mike" Diaz, age 82 of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2020, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on September 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Daniel Vincente Diaz and Rosa Rivera Diaz.

Angel moved to Pittsburgh in the mid-1960s. He was a skilled carpenter and a great cook. He will be sadly missed by his family.

Norma Jane (Keeler) Chamberlin, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at William Penn Care Center, Jeannette.  She was born, January 22, 1934 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Olsen) Keeler.  Norma was a loving mom, grandma and friend.  She spent most of her life sharing her musical talent in numerous churches and touched so many hearts as she directed the church choir.  Many lives were touched by her words of wisdom and her caring way.  Mom was blessed by her loving family and her family was truly blessed by her!  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Chamberlin; and sister, Carol Ann Keeler.  She is survived by her daughters, Linda Benish and Laura Kochasic and her husband, Donald; and devoted grandma to Jacob (Diane), Julie, Josh, Emily and Evan.   Services are private.  Service was officiated by Mary Ann Milne.  Arrangements made by the James W. Marie Clara (Winterhalter) Jakiela, age 83, of North Versailles passed away Monday, November 30, 2020. She was born September 22, 1937 in Bellevue, the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Marie Winterhalter. She was a longtime member of Mary Mother of God Parish (formerly St. Robert Bellarmine) in East McKeesport. She worked for First Federal Bank in White Oak and National City in Pittsburgh before retiring.

She was a member of the North Versailles, East McKeesport, and Turtle Creek Senior Citizens groups.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, Warren Bill) and Faye (Weiser)   Nevitt of Bedford, sister Nancy Gates  of New Paris, brother Robert Clarr of WY, brother-in-laws, Perry Ness of Jacobus, Harry "Poose" Gates of New Paris and William Griffith of Holidaysburg, and her mother Helen Dodson Clarr of Holidaysburg.

Ethel was employed by Stratigo's Catering of White Oak for 23 years and by the Gateway Clipper Fleet of Pittsburgh for 14 years. She was a lifelong member of the United Church of Christ, first in Friend's Cove (Bedford) and then in Duquesne. She enjoyed her many years as a member of the GFWC Women's Club of Duquesne, the Knights of Columbus Seniors, and the Duquesne Annex Seniors. She served as a past president of the Duquesne Band Parents. She loved baking and sharing the cakes, pies, and cookies she made, but nothing made her happier than yelling BINGO!

Friends and family will be received in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne, PA, 15110 on Thursday December 3, 2020 from 2-8 PM and on Friday December 4, 2020 from 10 until time of service at 11AM with Rev. James  Condron, in the Memorial Home. Burial will follow in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
