William Maroadi, 87, of North Huntingdon,  passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his home.  He was born December 21, 1932 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Mary Maroadi.  After his mother's passing he was raised by his grandmother Stella Maroadi and uncle, Tony Maroadi.  Bill was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War Era and after serving his country, he founded Maroadi Transfer and Storage in 1967.  He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, an avid golfer, enjoyed all kinds of music and sponsored the National Championship Slow Pitch Softball team and was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Dorothy M. Petrosky, 90, of Duquesne died Wednesday October 7, 2020. She is the daughter of the late George and Mary Hromanik. She is survived by cousin and caretaker Jerry (Debbie) Kostelnik; sister-in-law Wynne Hromanik; niece Tracy Hromanik; nephew Paul Hromanik; great-nieces, nephews, and other cousins. Dorothy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Duquesne Women's Club. Friends received Friday from 1-6pm at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne. A funeral service will be held Saturday 11am in the funeral home with Pastor John Gropp. Interment following Mckeesport-Versailles Cemetery.

Herbert W. Sayre, age 97, of Washington, formerly of Liberty Boro, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at home. He retired after 45 years as a turbine engineer for U.S. Steel National Works. An Army veteran serving during World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 361, Liberty Boro Vets, and the McKeesport Dartball League. Born September 6, 1923 in Dravosburg, he was a son of the late Phillip and Anna Belle (Davis) Sayre. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, JoAnn (McCorkle) Sayre; sons, Jeffrey W. (Laura) Sayre of South Strabane Twp. and Timothy B. Sayre of Brandon, FL; grandchildren, Cassie A. (Adam) Betzler and Corey W. Sayre; great-grandchild, Kendall K. Betzler; also, nieces. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 6-8 PM. A prayer service will take place Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to 25 people at any given time inside the funeral home. Guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. Hyacinth "Tootsie" P. Michalski, 86, of Glassport died Oct. 7, 2020.  She is the daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Pryzwarthy) Michalski.  She is survived by her niece Renee (Tim) Zecchini; great nephew Anthony (Samantha) Zecchini; great niece Kristin (David) Hockenbroch; great great nephews Luca Zecchini and Ayden Hockenbroch; also other nieces.  Tootsie was a retired registered nurse for Braddock Hospital and was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish.  Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Fri. from 6 to 8.  A funeral blessing will be held Sat. at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Father Wojcicki.

Dr. M. Bernard Keisler, 93, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of North Huntingdon, died Saturday October 3, 2020. He was born May 12, 1927 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Max and Olga (Hepps) Keisler and was also preceded in death by his wife Marilyn A. (Weiss) Keisler and a brother Morton Keisler.

Dr. Keisler was a retired optometrist having his own practice in Irwin for many years and then semi-retiring and joining Irwin Eye Care until full retirement from optometry. At the age of 50 he received his master’s in public administration and served on the Bureau of Mediation for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

He served as a Pennsylvania independent arbitrator in his final years. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy, a member of Gemilas Chesed Congregation, McKeesport, a former member of Norwin School District Board of Directors, a member of Shidle Lodge No. 601, F. & A.M., Irwin, a longtime member of the Irwin Lions Club, and a longtime voting poll worker.

Martha “Marty” Smith Nagy, 93, of Bethel Park, formerly of Elrama, passed away on Monday, October 5th, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living in Bethel Park. She was born in Coal Bluff, PA on February 23, 1927, to the late Victor and Margaret Sasovits Smith. She was the loving wife of the late John E. Nagy. Martha is survived by her sons, Terry (Marlene) Nagy, of Davie, FL, and James (Laura) Nagy, of Jefferson Hills, brother Paul (Dolores) Smith, of Finleyville, grandchildren; Jim, Matt, Kimmy, and Terra, and great-grandchildren; Autumn, Faith, Johnny, Lacey, Lukas, Sebastian, Rylin, Reagan and Ryan. In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by her grandson, T.J., and great-grandson, Christian. She was a member of the Boat Club in Elizabeth, enjoyed nature, walking, was a lover of animals, enjoyed feeding deer, and enjoyed gardening. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. She is survived by her daughter Jessica K. Buckery of Elizabeth, and brother, Jerry (Darlene) Williams of Pymatuning, and pets Midnight, Boots, Ivy, JiJi, Sugie, Panda, and Missy. Sheri is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Diane Williams. She was a member of the Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company. Sheri was a diehard Steelers fan and liked to support the Penguins as well. She enjoyed spending time with the people she loved and was often the center of the conversation. (Venturini) Smith, age 70 of Liberty Borough, passed away at home on Saturday, October 3, 2020.  Born April 3, 1950 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Pio and Virginia (Banchig) Venturini.  A former employee of the County of Allegheny, Mary was a member of St. Eugene's Church in Liberty Borough.  In her spare time, Mary loved animals -- especially her dog Buttons -- spending time and the mountains, and collecting cookbooks.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arleigh E. Smith, who passed away June 30, 2017, and her brothers Gino and Raymond Venturini.  Mary is survived by her brother Ciro (Irene) Venturini of White Oak and many nieces and nephews.

Justin Sensenich, 38, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020.  He was born November 23, 1981 in Greensburg, a son of Dean and Joyce (Perrino) Sensenich.  Justin was the owner and operator of J&K Trading.  He was a graduate of Yough Sr. High School Class of 2000 and a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and riding quads.  He especially loved spending time with his children and going to the beach.  He is survived by his wife, Krista (Muir) Sensenich; children, Jacey, Lily and Kiley; mother and father-in-law, Patty and Frank Muir.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Sr. Mary Celine Rachwal, age 89 of the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in UPMC McKeesport.  Born January 19, 1931 in Niebocko, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Kopczk) Rachwal.  A Professed Sister of the Divine Redeemer for 68 years, Sr. Celine received her BSE in elementary education and business education from Duquesne University, her MA in Administration and Secondary Education from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and her Magistrere in French Language and Civilization from the Sorbonne, Paris.   She worked as a high school French teacher for many years and served as treasurer for the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer.  In her spare time, Sr. Celine loved to garden, was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting.   Sr. Celine is survived by her Sisters of the Divine Redeemer; her sister-in-law Ruth Rachwal; her nieces Valerie (Robert) Bolhouse, Diana (Gary) Skalski, Jenny (Walter) Jominy, and Cyndi (Philip) Roberge; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Helen Coll and Sr. M. Adrienne Rachwal, S.D.R. and her brother Matthew Rachwal.
