Edward "Eddie" Paul Reganick, age 68 of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on January 25, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport. Born September 23, 1948 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Chavis) Reganick, and loving husband of Roberta (Green) Reganick. Eddie was a proud graduate of Duquesne High School and went on to work for US Steel as a bargeman until his retirement after more than 28 years of service. In his free time, you could often find Eddie on a softball field playing the game he loved. He was a professional softball player for the Pittsburgh Hardhats and played for many of the area leagues. When not playing a game of ball, Eddie loved to spend time fishing, doing woodwork, and going to all the local flea markets to find more fishing gear and tools to tinker with. To say that he was a “handy-man” would be an understatement. He was always there to help family, friends, or a neighbor in need, whether it be a simple household problem or re-pointing a whole chimney. He also had a knack for buying old cars, or as he would say, "A-1 shape cars" and fixing them up to resell. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family and all those he had the chance to meet. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Aaron (Julie) Elm of Acme, Lisa (Phil) Siano of South Riding, VA, and Bill (Patty) Elm of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Jake, Rebecca, Josh, Aaron Jr., and Kailey; brothers, George Reganick of Duquesne and John "Tubby"Reganick of McKeesport; and nephew, Michael Reganick of Neville Island. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Reganick. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jason Wilson will officiate. Entombment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edward's memory may be made to the Salvation Army. Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
