Bonnie L. Vanscoy, age 74 of Liberty Borough, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in John J. Kane Regional Center - McKeesport. Born April 13, 1948 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late James "Bud" and Vera (Gabauer) Wagner. A former beautician in the area and member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Mark's Church, Liberty Site, Bonnie loved to travel, especially to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and to the casinos of Las Vegas and Atlantic City for a little gambling. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Vanscoy, who passed away in 2020, and her son Brian Vanscoy, who passed away in 1994. Bonnie is survived by her siblings James (Carolyn) Wagner of Glastonbury, CT, Kerry (Phillip) Corey of Liberty Borough, Kay (Timothy) Barry of Salem, OH, Daniel (JoAnna) Wagner of Reno, NV, Janine Wagner of Glassport, Lori (the late Glenn) Kraus of Liberty Borough, and Lisa (David) Thomas of Liberty Borough; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and her beloved cat Toby.

Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 3 PM to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 10 AM in Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Mark's Church, Liberty Site with Fr. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Procession and entombment to follow to Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
