Phyllis Irene Turner, age 95, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Jefferson Hills Manor. She was a former employee of Kmart in Pleasant Hills, the Lou Thayer store and Glos Automotive, and she enjoyed playing bingo. Born April 13, 1927 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Irene (McCorkle) Lynch and wife of the late James Dale Turner Sr. She is survived by sons, James Dale Turner Jr. of Elizabeth, Edward A. (Melissa) Turner of Addison and Thomas (Darla) Turner of Elizabeth; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Lynch of Ruffsdale; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Timothy L. Turner, and sister, Ruth Andrisko. Visitation, funeral service and burial were private.
