Barbara M. Romesburg, 76, of Lincoln Borough, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on September 6, 1946 and was the daughter to the late Edward and Mary (Furman) Szmuc. Barb was retired from a long time career in the 'Better Sportswear' division at Kaufmann's in Century III. She loved to sit in the sun and read a good book; enjoying time with her grandchildren and taking them to different places, like mini-golf or the aviary; but she also loved the ocean and the family's annual trip to Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Barry J. Romesburg, Sr.; son, Barry J. (Jamie) Romesburg, Jr. of Liberty Borough; brother, Edward C. (Josephine) Szmuc, Jr. of Florida; sisters, Lori (the late Glenn) Bupp of Elizabeth Township, and Vikki (the late Ken) Miliken of Hempfield Township; grandchildren, Megan, Bree, and Danny Romesburg; former sister-in-law, Virginia (Williams) Szmuc of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barb is preceded in death by her son, Brain Scott Romesburg who passed away February 9, 2002. Private visitation and funeral services were held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
