Ruth Ann Bendel, age 66, of Liberty Borough, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian. She retired from the accounting department at Liberty USA and also worked for Johnson Chimney Sweep. A former member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp., she enjoyed being with family and friends. Born March 1, 1957 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Noga) Bendel. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Vance and Harrison Vance, both of Liberty Borough; grandson, Theseus Vance; and sister, Gloria (Gary) Saylor of Royersford. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 1 PM until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 3 PM with Rev. Josh officiating.
