Kathleen A. Lenze, age 74 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA. Born November 29, 1948 in Dravosburg, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Evelyn (Schumann) Zewe. Kathleen retired as an elementary school teacher for the West Mifflin School District, teaching at Grant and Homeville elementary schools. In her spare time, she loved to cook and ride bicycles, but she was most importantly very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Jack J. Lenze; her children Heather (Nathan) Martin of Fox Chapel and Michael J. (Dr. Audrey) Lenze of Reston, VA; her grandchildren Quinn and Bear Martin and Luca Lenze; her siblings Phyllis Little of Pittsburgh and Thomas (Estelle) Zewe of Jefferson City, MO; and also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Arnold and James Zewe. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 2 PM until 4 PM and from 6 PM until 8 PM. A procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:30 AM in time for an 11:30 AM service at the mausoleum chapel of Jefferson Memorial Park for a committal service, burial following.
