Lois Jean Adamson, age 73 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at home. Born October 4, 1949 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Pry) Hancher. Lois Jean was a 1967 graduate of Clairton High School and received a Medical Assistant Associate Degree from Community College of Allegheny County. Lois Jean worked for the former Pittsburgh Heart & Vascular Assoc. and was a member of the Pine Run Methodist Church. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 803 of Clairton.

Lois Jean is survived by her husband George; her daughter Kelly Adamson, her son Kenneth James "Addy" Adamson; her sister-in-law Dolores Pry; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her brothers Ken Hancher and James Pry, her half-sister Caroline Curry, and her half-brother Robert Hancher.
