Amelia A. Furin, 61, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born November 25, 1961 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late George and Marion (Hawk) Furin. Amelia was a wiring tech for Crisp Control for over 20 years. She was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of '81 and a member of the Wendel Club. She enjoyed working, attending social gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George and Stephen Furin. She is survived by her sons, Richard Ramsey (Katie), Justin Ramsey, Benjamin Christopher; daughter, Erica Smartnick (Brian); sisters, Susie Owell, Marion McFeely, Mary Furin; grandchildren, Rachel, Parker and Aidan. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A prayer service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CEMETERY.
