Diana Louise Rager, 74, of Turtle Creek, passed away Thursday August 31, 2023 at home. She was born November 4, 1948 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Robert Chester and Vesta Ann (Maxwell) Ashcroft. She was wife of the late Kenneth Raymond Rager, Sr., who passed away in 1995. Diana obtained her Associates Degree to become a Pharmacy Technician from CCAC and went on to work as a Pharmacy Technician for the former Medicine Shoppe in McKeesport for over 20 years and then went on to work for 17 years as a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor for United Healthcare until her retirement in 2019. She was also a member of the former Kephart Church in McKeesport. She had previously trained and was a Boy Scout leader and ran the junior bowling program at the former White Oak Bowling Alley. She was a devoted grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Anthony Michael (Julie) Frucella, Gina Lynn (Phillip) Gates, and Dawn Marie (Vince) Kemper; grandchildren, Tyler, Meghan, Sandrea, Autumn, Dustin, William, Brittney, Carol and Anthony; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Christine E. Saxon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Jean Haltom and brother, Eugene Edward Ashcroft. It was Diana’s wish not to have visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will be at Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park.
