Freda Catherine (Marcoff) Chidester, 72, of North Versailles, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016. She was born September 6, 1944 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Elia Alex and Catherine M. Goldbauh Marcoff. She is survived by her daughters, Jody Lynn (William) Stockdill of North Huntingdon, and Jill Marie (David) Niber of Youngwood, a granddaughter, Madison Niber, and nieces, Cindy Marynak, Linda Marcoff Briggs, Carey Davis, Beth Moore and Amy Martin.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Alex Marcoff, sister, Dolores Good, and nephew, Michael Marcoff. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8, Friday, November 4 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322) Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 5, at 10:00 am. with The Rev. F. Robert James, officiating. Interment will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
