William John "Bill" Greiner, 77, of Jefferson Hills passed away at home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born May 6, 1946 in McKeesport and was son to the late Joseph Julius and Lillian (Coddington) Greiner. Bill was a McKeesport High School graduate and served in the US Navy. He loved sports cars, and enjoyed volunteering his time to help his daughter create crafts for the vacation bible school at their church. In 1973, Bill built his & Maureen's house from the ground up using his beautiful woodworking skills. He also worked many years alongside Maureen as proprietors of WJ's Discount Pet Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Maureen Elizabeth (Clancy) Greiner; daughter, Sandra (Denny) Oeler of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Ian & Emma Oeler; his brother, Edward Greiner of Lake City, FL; sisters, Rose (Pat) Trayers of North Huntingdon, and Delores (Ken) Rosier of Lincoln Borough; brother-in-law, Steve (Maria) Clancy of Jefferson Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brothers, Fredrick & Robert Greiner; sister, Debra Webster; and baby sister Diane Greiner. Friends are welcome Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
