Sherry E. "Bridgette" Lazar, 76, passed away December 27, 2023, in Pittsburgh, PA. Born April 22, 1947, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William Kiger I and Mary (Forte) Kiger and was the wife of the late Paul A. Lazar.

Sherry lived a fulfilling life defined by love, laughter, and cherishing precious moments with her family. She was a medical lab technician at St. Francis Hospital and a member of Praise Assembly of God in North Versailles. In her leisure time, Sherry enjoyed traveling with her husband and family to various locations and beaches. Spending time with her family was most important to her. Sherry's vibrant humor charmed everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her infectious laughter had a way of lifting spirits and bringing smiles to the faces of those around her. Sherry had an impeccable sense of style, always looking effortlessly as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. We love and miss her so much; she will forever be in our hearts.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Nena Seliga of White Oak and Leesa (Keith) Pfeffercorn of McKeesport; grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Ashley, and Michael Pfeffercorn; sisters, Marie (Dave) Robinson and Darla (Denny) Nash; brother, John Kiger; sister-in-law Gail Kiger and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sherry was preceded in death by her brother William Kiger, II. Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
