Alice R. Pierce, 94, of Glassport, formerly of McKeesport, died peacefully on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 at home.  Roberta was affectionately known as "Aunt Bert" to many.  She worked at Balsamo's and Cray Brothers in McKeesport for several years before retiring from Rite Aid in Glassport.  Born in McKeesport, August 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Agatha Pierce.  She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, with whom she resided and was cared for, Margaret "Peg" and Angelo Norelli of Glassport; nieces and caregivers, goddaughter Angela Hart of Port Vue and Jennifer (Dennis) Norelli-Burke of Glassport; great nieces and nephews, who helped care for her, Kassady and Mackenzie Burke and Angelo (AJ) Hart; sister, Mary (the late Jack) Price in Louisiana; and other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bill (Pat), James "Skip" (Ellen), Raymond "Fu" (Marge) and Clyde "Bud" Pierce.  Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 641 Vermont Ave., Glassport. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am by the Rev. Bruce Stallings.  Interment will be in the McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.
