Ethel Fatandas, age 94, of White Oak, died February 12, 2024, at The Palms at O'Neil. Born October 2, 1929, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late George and Olga (Vourlos) Cordis and the wife of the late Nicholas Fatandas.  Ethel was a member of the Annunciation of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, the Chios Philoptochos Society, the Markella Philoptochos Society, and the Renzie Park Seniors. She enjoyed going to bingos and on bus trips to casinos. Ethel was the family baker and cook, preparing delicious Greek pastries and dishes for her neighbors, friends, and family.

 Ethel is survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Cordis, and many loving nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Cordis, Mary Padusi, and James Cordis. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 12 to 6 p.m. A Trisagion Service will be at 5:30 p.m. There will be an additional visitation at the Annunciation of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
