William V. Scholl Jr., age 72, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian. A retired attorney, he owned William V. Scholl Jr., Attorney at Law, in Elizabeth. A member of Mt. Vernon Community Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Twp., he was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and Wake Forest University. He was a member of the Elizabeth Lions Club and former board member of the Elizabeth Twp. Ambulance Service. Born June 14, 1951 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late William V. Scholl Sr. and the late Ruth (Hixson) Scholl. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margaret A. (Snyder) Scholl of Elizabeth Twp.; daughter, Katherine (Matt) Hoffer of Elizabeth Twp.; sons, Christian Snyder of Elizabeth Twp. and Eric Scholl of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Madison Hoffer, Christian (Mariah) Snyder Jr., Halie (Shane) Snyder and Dylan Snyder; great-grandchildren, Gabe and Domenic Snyder, and Sebastian, Harrison and Ally Rusnak; sisters, Sherry (Richard) Kogut of Elizabeth Twp. and Bonny (Alan) Wright of Spring, TX; also, nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will take place in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 4-7 PM. A Memorial Service will take place at Mt. Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Twp., on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 2 PM with the Rev. Matt Fricker officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
