Terry A. Meigs, age 70 of Jefferson Hills, passed away at home on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Born March 14, 1946 in Braddock, he was a son of the late James R. and Dorothy (Perin) Meigs. A retired Dietary Manager for Five Star Quality Care's Overlook Green Assisted Living Center who also drove school buses for Matthews Bus Co., Terry was a parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi Parish and a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was also a member of the VFW #3 in Wilson, the White Oak American Legion, and the Elizabeth Twp. Ex-Servicemen's Association. Terry loved to play horseshoes, loved to fish, loved his family (especially his grandchildren), and really loved to joke around and push people's buttons. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Paula (Gecan) Meigs; his daughters Laurie (John) Meigs-Large of Jefferson Hills and Carrie (Scott) Meigs-Abbate of Chesterfield, MI; his son Jason (Andrea) Meigs of Jefferson Hills; his grandchildren Jessica and Joshua Large, Sarah Abbate, and Sebastian and Kelsie Broderick; his sister Dorothy (Denny) Vandruff of Castle Shannon; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Meigs-Narducci and his brother James Meigs. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Blessing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
