Paul "Skip" Hunter, 89, of Greenock, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born May 31, 1935 in Versailles and was the son of the late Calvin William and Clarabelle Henrietta (Knapton) Hunter.  Skip was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Local 95 and was a US Army Veteran.  He worked for UPMC McKeesport Hospital and had previously worked for the former G.C. Murphy Co.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beverly "Joy" (Holsing) Hunter, daughter, Faith (Ken) Lasica of Mount Vernon, grandchildren, Christopher, Jason,  and Noelle, foster-grandson, Justin Sherlock, great-grandchildren, Paisley, Harper, June, Hazel and Caden, sister, Peggy Marie Vennebush of Elizabeth Township, and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul William Hunter, foster-grandson, Amado Gorham, brothers, Calvin and Russell Hunter, and sisters, Flo Faye, Dolores Tucker and Ila B. Filoti. Friends are welcome Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 12-2 pm at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
