Teresa Aniceta “Ann” Yester, 93, of McCandless, formerly of Allison Park and Sharpsburg, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was born February 25, 1931 in Vestaburg and was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Helen (Breen) Skehan. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Yester, Sr., who passed away April 29, 1975. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and sang in the church choir there. Teresa was a volunteer at Kane Regional Center and the Vincentian Nursing Home.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Dale) Katz of Springdale, Maureen Hughes of Myrtle Beach, SC., Bernadette (Russell) Breitinger of White Oak, Mark (Mary) Yester of Ross Township, and Keith Yester of Pittsburgh, sister, Helen Skehan of Sharpsburg, brother, Peter Skehan of Phoenix, AZ., 11 grandchildren, 15, great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul R. Yester, Jr., siblings, Mary Margaret, John, James, Rose, Robert, Bernard, and Philip, and great-grandson, Sincere Powell. There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 10:30 am. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw.
