Mary Ann (Suda) Boyko of White Oak, peacefully passed away on November 21, 2024 at Golden Heights Personal Care Home (Irwin). She was born July 27, 1936 in McKeesport, Pa, the daughter of the late Joseph Suda and Lottie (Wiernicke) Suda. Mary Ann was the loving wife of the late Alexander Boyko, loving mother of Deborah (Ben) Sigafoos, Peter (Patricia) Boyko, Ted (Lisa) Boyko and loving grandmother of Lily and Alexandra Boyko. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Suda of Michigan, and sister, Karen Prusiewicz of Michigan.
Baba, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was a vivacious woman with a beautiful smile. She met her husband Alex while both were working at Balsamos in McKeesport. Mary Ann had several other jobs including Stratigos, Gimbles, Syms Department Store, and Phyllis's Fashion Boutique. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Ukranian Catholic Church in McKeesport for many years, helping to make the most delicious pierogies in the area, and singing in the choir. She enjoyed listening to music, loved gardening, decorating her home, and participating in her Bingo Club for over 50 years! She also loved her dogs, baby sitting and playing with her granddaughters when they were young. She was a faithful Steeler fan, making sure to watch every game.
Those who knew Mary Ann will remember her for her beautiful smile, fun and loving ways, love of Jesus and her strength and stamina while enduring a long illness.
