Richard Lee “Ricky” Greene has gone to rest on Friday, December 9, 2016. He was born on April 19, 1945 in Elizabeth, PA to the late William D. “Wheaty” Greene and Mrs. Chrystabelle “Bay-Bay” Greene. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his siblings William E. Greene, Donald G. Greene, Robert D. Greene, John Allen Greene, Mrs. Barbara Glover- Miller, Leroy Young and his daughters Ms. Tara Lee Greene and Kimberly Greene.

"Ricky”, “Mean Greene”, “Disco”, “Todd” or “Pap Pap” as he was fondly referred to, was the owner of Greene’s Brickwashing Company. He sold insurance for Western & Southern and was a popular DJ in the region in the 1980s – 1990s. He was also a recorded drummer with well-known artists such as Bill Doggett, The Splendors, George Benson, and travelled Europe with other artists. Rick also received several baseball scholarships.

Rick enjoyed life. He always reached out to his family and friends whom he loved unconditionally. He was an avid Lakers, Dallas Cowboys and Pirates fan with total recall of each of their stats. He loved a good cigar, a good cocktail, driving his Mercedes Benz and his cat Stripes.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea, his sister Mrs. Marva J. Greene-Watkins of Cleveland, Ohio, two loving and devoted daughters, Ms. Tanya Greene of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Lisa V Bray (Glenn D.) of Pittsburgh. One brother- in-law, Walter E. Richardson, Jr. of Uniontown and five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Geraldine Greene and Mrs. Laura Hilliard both of Clairton, Mrs. Elnore J. Clark of Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Terri L. Johnson of Brownsville and Mrs. Pamela Briggs of Charlotte, NC, eleven grandchildren, Tiffany, Aaron, Daryen, Lashawn, Elias, Johnathan, Jacqueline, Demetrius, Aaminah, Allyasa and Angel, plus a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends and others.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Jefferson Hospital and AHN Healthcare at Home for the care given to our loved one.

The family will also host a Memorial Celebration for “Ricky” at a later date.
