Melvin E. Lewis, 77, of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, March 18. 2025. He was born on November 12, 1947 in Sharon and was the son of the late Melvin and Robina (Adams) Lewis. Melvin was a US Army Veteran that served during Vietnam. He was a retired Blast Furnace Operator for US Steel at the Duquesne Mill and later became a baker. He was the loving husband to Elizabeth (Lesko) Lewis.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Robert Lewis of Alabama and James Lewis of Sharon; step-daughter Lisa (Mark) Lakenan of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Zac, Brandon, Ryder, Tony, Dylan, Rachel, Ryley, Austin, Jakob, Jyllian and Autumn; sister, Donna (Ed) Sternthal of Sharon; nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rose Marie Burke and sisters, Maxine Miller and Nancy Schuster. There is no visitation.
