Angel Larae Warren, 41, of West Mifflin, was born August 1, 1983, in McKeesport, PA. She was the beloved daughter of Dante Warren and Lisa King.
Angel departed this life on March 24, 2025, at her residence in West Mifflin, PA. She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Calvin Maurice Hall, brother, Raymond Craighead King, grandmother, Patricia Jackson, and uncle, Jesse Warren.
Angel received her education in the McKeesport Area School District and graduated in 2001. She participated in different activities such as basketball and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). During high school she became employed by the Peer Group Telecommunications, Hilltop bar, and then Cooties bar and Grill where she made lifelong friends and memories.
Angel grew up in McKeesport and was a member of the McKeesport Black Berets. Angel had a passion for dancing, music, and fashion from an early age and it was obvious that her style was genuine and unique.
Angel began a telecommunications career starting at PRC with Direct TV. During that period, Angel met Calvin, and they quickly began building a life together in the West Mifflin area. After leaving PRC, Angel continued her telecommunications career with Cardworks Servicing, LLC. working her way up from an entry level employee to a supervisory role in the collections department, which she valued tremendously.
Angel’s true passion in life was traveling and experiencing the cultures and traditions in different places. She explored many countries abroad and almost every state in America. Spending time with family and friends was the most important thing to her, whether it was hosting a gathering or attending one; Angel was showing up and showing out with the nicest outfits. She had the funniest jokes and the best gifts! Angel had a personal connection with every single person in her life, she had a way of making everyone feel like they were her best friend. We jokingly called this the “Angel effect”.
Angel was truly one of a kind and adored by all, especially Calvin. The love they shared was special, and the life they built together was beautiful. Angel was the absolute best Godmother to all of her Goddaughters and best dog mom to her beloved Nanook “Vookie”.
Angel is survived by her beloved parents, Lisa King of McKeesport, PA., Dante (Tracey) Warren of Las Vegas, Nevada; six brothers, Lamontae Warren-King, Dante Warren, Jr., Elijah Warren, Cornell Warren; Paris Warren; and Kareem Shaheed Warren; sister cousins, Krista Davis and Cameron Preston, three nieces, Leesa Raye Craighead King, Trinity Warren, Journey Warren, two nephews, Lamontae Warren-King, Jr., Aaron Warren; grandmother, Paula Byrd-Warren; extended family and friends.
Arrangements are in care of Robert A. Waters Funeral Home.
