Rosemarie (Intrieri) Ali, formerly a long-time resident of Glassport, age 87, died peacefully at Concordia in Monroeville on Monday, May 12, 2025. Rosemarie was the wife of the late John Ali for 46 years.

She was the loving and devoted mother of JoAnn (Patrick) Niehl of Penn Twp., Lawrence (Vicki) Ali of Greensburg and Linda (Jerry) Morle of TX.

Rosemarie was the proud grandmother of Kayla Marie (fiancé, Garrett Cockeram) Ali, Lucas (Alexia) Ali, Logan (fiancé, Olivia Mansier) Ali, Michelle (Andy) Kulaszewski and Amber (James) Shelton.

She was delighted to be the great-grandmother of Nolan Shelton, Hudson Kulaszewski, and Talia Rose Ali.

Rosemarie is also survived by her sister, Viola (late Joseph) Catone of FL and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Intrieri and her sister, Frances (late Ottavio) DiNardo.

Prior to starting her family with John, Rosemarie was a payroll clerk for Pittsburgh Steel Foundry in Glassport. And after her children were grown, she spent many years as a salesclerk with Sears in Century III Mall.

A most significant aspect of her life, complimenting her role of wife and mother, was as a devout Christian, and member and Deaconess of The Church of Jesus Christ of Glassport/Clairton. 

Rosemarie was not only a care giver for her children, but she selflessly cared for her aged parents and her husband, John when they needed special attention. 

A true joy in her role as a caregiver, was any occasion when she watched over her grandchildren.

Friends are welcome on Monday, May 19, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Funeral service will be prayed on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Rosemarie will then be laid to rest in Jefferson Memorial Park.
