Thomas Wayne Carpenter, age 75 of North Huntingdon, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 1, 2025 while surrounded by his family. Born on October 15, 1949 in New Castle, he lived a life marked by kindness, humility, and unwavering love for his family. Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy, demonstrating a deep commitment to his country. He was a member of Word of Life Church in Greensburg, and the owner and president of Kress Manufacturing. Thomas was a gentle soul with a generous heart, known by all who loved him as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Carpenter, his four sons Chris Carpenter (Kim), Aaron Carpenter (Amanda), Ryan Carpenter, and Jeremy Carpenter, and his cherished grandchildren Morgan, Levi, Tyler, Braden, Sam, Makayla, Owen, Trey, and Ethan. He also leaves behind his brother, Donald Carpenter (Mary), sisters Cande Haski (Marty), and Lynn Rabosky (Ron), and many extended family members and friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his loving parents, Donald and Ruth Carpenter. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steadfast love, and the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Thomas's legacy lives on in the lives of his children and grandchildren, who were his greatest pride and joy. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Thursday from 4-7 PM, and Friday from 10-11 AM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 AM with interment to follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.
