Robert "Bob" Kolar, age 63, of McKeesport, died on June 24, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born January 21, 1962, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Steve and Frances (Rataic) Kolar.   Bob was a lifelong supporter of his hometown of Duquesne, proudly cheering on the Dukes and their athletic endeavors. His professional journey culminated in a rewarding retirement as an operations manager for a corporate  travel agency, where he dedicated his expertise to many businesses. His own family was the heart of his world; he especially treasured the moments spent on vacations to the beach and the magic of Disney World, creating beautiful memories with his beloved daughter, Molly Kolar.  A passionate outdoor enthusiast, Bob was an active member of both the McKeesport Sportsmen's Association and the Jacktown Ride & Hunt Club. Bob was also a member of Charter Oak Church and served on the First Impressions and Safety Team. He reveled in the camaraderie of friends while enjoying barbecues and mastering the art of smoking meats, which became a centerpiece of gatherings filled with laughter and shared stories.

Music was another profound passion in Bob's life. He found joy in attending concerts of bands that defined his youth, from the captivating melodies of The Cars to the energetic beats of the Beastie Boys and, more recently, embracing the uplifting sounds of Christian rock.
