Sylvia J. (Momberger) Berger, 76, of Allegheny Township, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, after a long journey with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Up until the end Sylvia maintained her compassion, appreciation and love of her family. Sylvia was born on March 7, 1949 in Allegheny Township, PA and was the daughter of the late Raymond G. Momberger and Virginia I. (Snider) Momberger. Sylvia was a 1967 graduate of Kiski Area High School. She went on to work in the optical industry for over 50 years.

Sylvia was a devoted mother to Jeffrey (Tracey) Berger, Michael (Norma) Berger and Elizabeth (Justin) Mullen; Proud Grandmother to Jonah, Amelia, Victoria, Isabella, Sofia, Makayla and Ryan. Sylvia enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her dogs Benny and Riley. She was often seen at her grandkids sporting events, concerts, parties, etc. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids and was always the first to cheer them on. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know and love her. A Memorial service will be private and held at a later date.
