Danielle L. Wilson McCann, age 53 of North Huntingdon passed away July 3, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 15, 1971 in McKeesport, a daughter of Nancie Muro (Nicholas) and Daniel Wilson (Norma). Danielle was a member of Norwin Christian Church, she graduated from Norwin High School class of 1989, University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and attained her master’s degree from Duquesne University. She was employed as a student counselor at Franklin Regional High School and worked with children for 35 years. Her work family became her second family. Danielle enjoyed shopping with her mother, supporting and adopting numerous pet adoption services. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 26 years Eric T. McCann and her brother Nicko Wilson (Emily) and best friend Jen DeVittis and numerous relatives and friends. Friends will be received on Monday July 7, 2025 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in North Versailles.
