Dale Raymond Gerstner, 77, of White Oak, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1948 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Harry F. and Marian (Carlson) Gerstner. He was born on the same day White Oak Borough was incorporated. He was a proud US Army Veteran, and served our country during the Vietnam War. Dale was the owner of Gerstner Autobody in White Oak, he was very talented working on Ambulances, Hearses, rare cars and many vehicles during his career. He was also a former part time police officer for White Oak and East McKeesport. Most importantly he was family man who walked a Christian life. He enjoyed his horses when he was young and very fond of nature. He also loved traveling, scuba diving, skiing, white water rafting and spending time on his back porch.

 He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy (Yotter) Gerstner; daughter, Kristy Gerstner; son, David (Cassidy) Gerstner; grandchild, Emersyn and a grandson on the way Logan James Raymond Gerstner; sister, Susan (Paul) Harlacher; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Justin (Jose) Harlacher, Heather (David) Comisky, Jason, John and Bryan Gerstner; special cousin Renee (Brian) and their daughter, Breana, William (Lisa) Orris, II. and their children, Micahel and Lauren, and Lauren (Nicholas) Talotta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Gerstner and mother-in-law, Margaret Steelnack. Friends are welcome Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. 412-751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday immediately following visitation at 1 PM with Pastor William Orris officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
