Thomas C. Granny, age 67 of Irwin, passed away on August 22, 2025. He was born on March 6, 1958 in Braddock, a son of Patricia McGarrity Granny and the late David Granny. Tom was a graduate of Norwin High School in the class of 1976. He was a talented mechanic and fulfilled a career at Kenny Ross Automotive. Tom had a passion for restoring old cars and he was known as a jack-of-all-trades who loved to work around the house. In his free time, he always looked forward to camping, especially at Big Bear Lake. In addition to his father, Tom was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Doug Granny. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl McNally Granny, two sons, Thomas Granny (fiancée Rachel) and Chris Granny (wife Jessica), three sisters, Letty Blasiola (husband Dave), Debbie Stickle (husband Joe), and JoAnne Campbell (husband Craig), one sister-in-law Audrey, eight grandchildren, Jordyn, Hayden, Maddy, Addy, Mason, Thomas, Parker, and Bryce, one great-grandson Jace, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Thursday from 3-8 PM with a service at 7:30.
