Corinne Zender, age 90, formerly of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Waltonwood Assisted Living, Rochester, MI. Corinne was born in Clairton on July 9, 1926 to the late Felix And Anna (DeBiassi) Zender.

She worked for years before retiring as a clerk for U.S.Steel Clairton Works and was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, in Clairton. Corinne is survived by her brother, Felix Zender of PA, nephews; Fr. Richard Perozich of CA, James Perozich of MI, Jeffrey Perozich of PA, Arthur Zender of IL, Danny Zender of WI, Dennis Zender of MI and nieces Sherry Heiser of PA and Karen Condon of IL. Along with her parents Corinne is pre deceased by her brother, Arthur Zender, Sr. Friends will be received on Sunday, January 1, 2017 in the A. J. Bekavac Funeral Home from 1 -4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton. The Funeral Mass will be officiated by her nephew, Fr. Richard Perozich and great nephew Fr. John Paul Heiser, OSB, burial will follow in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.
