John T. Baker Jr., age 63, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, in UPMC Mercy. Born in Homestead on March 1, 1962, he is the son of Ruth (Coughanour) Baker of West Mifflin and the late John Baker Sr.
He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in chemical engineering and was employed at Veolia. He loved Steeler football and had his dream job as an usher at Acrisure Stadium. He enjoyed football, watching sports and listening to live music. He proudly served his country in the Army.
John is the father of Olivia (Rich) Thomas of Ocean City, MD and grandfather of their daughter, Lydia Thomas and the father of Jonathon (Valerie) Baker of Dover, DE; companion of Dolores Murray of Ocean City, MD; and brother of Kenny Baker, Kevin (Brenda) Baker of Dravosburg and Karen Hannold of Meadville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
