Alice M. Hurd, age 82, of McKeesport, passed away on January 10, 2026, at Rose Meadows Health and Rehab. Born May 13, 1943, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Tomko) Gulyban.

Alice worked as a florist at Shackelford's and Maxwell's in Monroeville and Giant Eagle Supermarket before her retirement. She also enjoyed crafts, painting, gardening, arranging flowers, spending time with her kitty Zora, and talking with her friends and relatives.

She is survived by sons, Jeff (Jenny) Hurd, of Sartell, MN, Mark (Kelly) Hurd, of Litchfield, MN, and Erik (Tara) Hurd, of Elizabeth, PA; brother, William (Marilyn) Gulyban; grandchildren, Nickolas, Kevin, Miranda, Laura (Aaron), Ryan, Jessica (Greg), Thomas, Darin (Cierra), and Desirae; seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Hurd, and a sister, Mary Ann Madar.

To honor our mother's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Alice's memory in your own way. Her quote was "I want to be remembered the way everyone knew me." Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
