Bernice Nevitt passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. She had celebrated her 100th birthday on September 23, 2025. She led a life full of family and friends who gave her much happiness. Bea was born in Glassport, PA to Wojciech and Helen Fien. She is predeceased by her loving husband, George Nevitt; her mother and father, Helen (Karnas) and Wojciech Fien; siblings Casimir, Helen, Anna, Laura, Mary Liliose, Mary Edith, Kay, John, Marie, Florence and Delores. Bea is survived by her daughters Bonnie Walker (James), Joyce Stephens (Russell Osborne), and Nancy Mols (Steven); grandchildren J. David Walker (Kristen), Julia Merritt (Robert), Jason Stephens (Elizabeth), George Stephens, Ryan Mols (Natalie) and Alison Fowler (Andrew); great- grandchildren Everett Walker, Brooks Walker, Jay Merritt, Finn Merritt, Wesley Merritt, Evelynn Stephens, Carter Fowler and Nora Fowler; along with many nieces, nephews and friends who will always remember her love and kindness. Bea lived most of her life in White Oak, though she and George also had a home in Palm Harbor, FL where they spent many winters, enjoying the warmth of the southern climate. While in Florida, they were active in the Polish American Pulaski Association, making new friends, and spending time on the dance floor, or playing cards. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bea’s life on Saturday, January 24 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J.
