Barbara Gail Fulmer, 91, of Clairton passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born in McKeesport on August 17, 1934 to the late Edward and Gladys (Grice) Hoak. Barbara was a peaceful soul, who lived a long, enduring life. Her quiet strength, spirit and humble demeanor were the navigating force throughout her long and modest life. These tender characteristics and her enduring faith in the Lord gave her the ability and fortitude to successfully nurture nine children.

She is survived by her children, Bryan (the late Tracy) Fulmer of Pittsburgh, Curtis Fulmer of Pittsburgh, Vincent Fulmer of Clairton, Joel (the late Joanne) Fulmer of Clairton, Donna (Rick) Gilson of Meadville, Valerie (Vincent) Harvey of Friedens, Kevin Fulmer of Clairton, Scott (April) Fulmer of North Las Vegas, NV., and Charles Fulmer of Clairton; her grandchildren, Michael Harvey, Mary Fulmer, and Charles Fulmer; and her great-grandchildren, Audrey & Parker Harvey; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Fulmer, who passed away in 2011; and by her siblings, Carol and Edward “Nupe” Hoak. Friends are welcome Friday, February 20, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, PA 15135.
