Karen L. Sprumont, age 74 of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 11, 2026. She was born on September 13, 1951, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Jerome Zosack and Lillian Szerszen Zosack. Karen was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She graduated from McKeesport High School and earned a degree in education from Clarion University. Karen worked for insurance companies in Pittsburgh, which is where she met her husband, Joseph. She raised her boys, spent time helping with their school projects, and always looked forward to attending their sporting events. Later in life, Karen worked at several local stores, and she became the manager of the gift shop at Redstone Highlands in North Huntingdon. More than anything, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends. Karen is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Sprumont Jr., two sons, Joseph Sprumont III, and Daniel Sprumont (Jackie), and one brother, Gregory Zosack (wife Rhonda). Friends will be received at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Sunday from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM. A funeral Mass will take place in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon on Monday at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
