Marlene L. O'Neal, age 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Forbes Regional Hospital.

She was born February 16, 1934 in Munhall, PA, a daughter of the late Louis and Helen McGinnis Schamus.  Marlene was owner-operator of Bomar Jewelry and Gifts, and enjoyed playing bingo and loved visiting the Rivers Casino.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. O'Neal; brother, Ronald Schamus.  She is survived by her son, Robert O'Neal and his wife, Cherie; daughter, Michelle Koresko and her companion, Robert Markulin; brother, Larry Schamus; two sisters, Judy Pindro, Darla Diaz (Joe); grandchildren, Robert (Christy) Bradich, Ryan (Emily) Bradich, Lindsey (Andrew) Brown, Misty Koresko, Helen (Dan) Brizek, Christopher O'Neal and his fiancee, Alyssa Lapinski, Eric O'Neal; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.  Friends will be received on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
