Sondra Ann “Bubba” Sechrist, 87, of McKeesport, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026. Born January 4, 1939 in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore "Babe" and the late Martha (Smereczniak) Tiano. She was also the loving wife of many years to the late Lloyd Sechrist. Sondra lived a life centered around love, family, and unwavering dedication to those she cared for most. Known as the true matriarch of her family, Bubba devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren, and she took immense joy in her great-grandchildren. She never missed a single event, always showing up with pride, love, and support. Her presence was a constant source of strength and comfort, and her family always came before anything else. As her kids were growing up, she was a stern, yet wonderful mother, but as she got older, she softened her ways. She was a nurturing spirit-she made sure everyone was fed, cared for, and gave to everyone selflessly without hesitation. She embraced family differences with grace and understanding, always keeping her loved ones close. She attended the Glassport Assembly of God and was very strong in her faith. As well as a hardworking and dedicated house cleaner. A precious soul, she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Bart (Monica) Sechrist of Buena Vista, and Brett (Arland) Sechrist of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Teea Sechrist, Jayna Sechrist (Jason Ashton), Lucas Kachurick, Jeremy (Caity) Kachurick, Brittni (Marc) McCann, and Brandon (Marina) Sechrist; her great-grandchildren, Eric, Emma, Collins, Elsie, Ely, Jackson, Peyton, and Ezekiel; as well as her brother, Michael Tiano; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Sondra is preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Sechrist.
