Carole Sue Zecchini Patrick, 81,of McKeesport, formerly of Frank, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026. She was born June 19, 1944 in Frank, PA and was the daughter of the late Richard and Melva Estella (Hall) Gardner. Carole was the wife of the late John David Patrick, who passed away March 17, 2018. Carole lived most of her life in Frank, until moving to McKeesport. She was well known for teaching piano and organ out of both her home in Frank and McKeesport to hundreds of students throughout the years. She also shared her talents of piano and organ in numerous churches in the area. Carole was a manager at the former Family Christian Book Store in West Mifflin for many years as well.  She was a current member of The Norwin Alliance Church in North Huntingdon.  Carole also enjoyed gardening and was and exceptional baker and cook, who spent a lot of time in the kitchen, cooking for family and friends. She was known for sweets, especially cookies and lady locks, and her cappalletti pasta that she would make for the holidays. She enjoyed traveling, some of her favorite destinations were the beach, England and Scotland. Carole had an amazing circle of friends, that she enjoyed going to numerous tea parties with, most notably The Betsy Shoppe's in little Boston. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Kirk (Mui) Zecchini and Keith (Joyce) Zecchini; grandchildren, Dominic Zecchini, Zachary (Tiffani) Zecchini, Miranda Zecchini, Bella Zecchini and Eva Zecchini; great-grandchildren, Julian and Olivia Zecchini; her fiancé, John Wood; nephew, Bill Gardner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Butch (the late Betty) Gardner, and Bill (the late Mary Lou) Gardner.   Friends are welcome on Friday April 17, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Additional visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 11:30 am with Pastor Mike Groop, officiating. Private burial will be held at Scottdale Cemetery.
