It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving wife and mother who passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 with her family by her side following a short battle with cancer. Born May 12, 1956, Regina A. (Mance) Begg, age 60, of Monroeville, formerly of Clairton.

 Regina was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Mary (Verbanovic) Mance and brothers Raymond and Regis (Chris) Mance. She is the beloved wife of Ivan Begg, loving mother of Bryann Begg of White Oak, Brittny (Carl) Van Wagner of Jackson, MI, proud bubby of Cassidy Van Wagner and sister of Ronald Mance of Clairton. She is also survived by many cousins and relatives throughout the United States, Canada and Croatia. Graduate of Clairton High School, she was employed at Best Jewel Box, Hills Department Store, Eckerd Pharmacy and was a Bookstore Clerk at the Community College of Allegheny County. It was there she found her passion for administrative work. She went on to be a school secretary at Clairton Central Catholic School until its closing in 2004 then went on to St. Germaine in Bethel Park. Since 2008, she was employed by the Croatian Fraternal Union home office in Pittsburgh, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the CFU National Secretary/ Treasurer. Her love for her Croatian Heritage kept her busy throughout her lifetime. A member of the Croatian Fraternal Union since birth, she was an active member and officer of Lodge 248 in Clairton. She took part in many activities that the CFU organization offered including bowling tournaments, festivals and Croatian Picnics. Along with her husband, she helped organize both the Sacred Heart Junior Tamburitzans and Sacred Heart Adult Ensembles, both of McKeesport, PA. Regina was also a member of St. Bernadette Parish in Monroeville. Friends and family will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Monday March 13, 2017 from 2pm - 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2017  at 10am in St. Patrick Church, McKeesport, with Fr. Vicent Velas officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
