Matthew Yerecic, age 33, of Pittsburgh, formerly of North Huntingdon died May 5, 2017. He was born January 16, 1984 in Pittsburgh, a son of Bruce and Marsha Weslowski Yerecic.

Matthew was employed by the Salvation Army. He was currently a soldier of the Salvation Army planning to study to become a minister. He enjoyed weight lifting, working out and fitness. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Emma, his sister, Nicole Yerecic (Michael Schmitt), numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
