Jean L. (Cameron) Gealy, age 93, of Elizabeth, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Butler Health System. She retired as an accounting clerk for JC Penney in West Mifflin. She was a member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, the Clairton Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, past president of Elizabeth Senior Citizens, past Mother Advisor of Clairton Rainbow Girls, and was active in other senior citizen organizations. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Born December 17, 1923 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late James C. and Ada (Houston) Brown Cameron, and wife of the late Robert "Pete" Gealy. She is survived by daughter, Jean L. Skomra of Irwin; son, Robert (Sherry) Gealy of Cabot; grandchildren, Shannon (Robbie) Barbour of Wake Forest, NC, Robert (Deb) Gealy III of Collegeville, Leslie (Mark) Bachman of Butler, and Lana (Benjamin) Kramer of Renfrew; four great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Hilty and Margaret Burd, and brothers, James Cameron, Harry Brown, and Davis Cameron. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Walter Pietschmann officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
